About Me

I am a qualified and practicing Midwife of 12 years and also a qualified Level 3 Massage therapist specailising in Pregancy, Labour and Postnatal massage. This combination means that I really understand and have great knowledge regarding pregnancy, labour and postpartum topics so that we can discuss any concerns that you may have in a relaxed environment. I am also a mother, so I know how important having time to yourself is when life around you gets so busy. When you have a massage at home, it means you can really reap the benefits of what it can do for you without having to get up for the long drive home. It was very special for me. Its now a real passion of mine and I want to provide this experience for you. The power of touch has so many benefits including reducing anxiety, helping for a more calm labour (with regular sessions), lifting your mood, treating your body’s aches and pains (lower back pain, sore muscles, sciatica, oedema) and help you bond with your baby, it’s not just a treat it’s a necessity! I am also a Pregnancy Wellness Practitioner Level 2, this means that I can help advise you how be fit or stay fit for your pregnancy, labour and postpartum period by advising what type of workout routines and nutrition you may need to help strengthen your body to be in good shape which you can then discuss with a qualified trainer or nutritionist to support you emotionally and physically.
